The i4 Research in-house team designed and developed an iOS based app to facilitate electronic capture of over 1,000 pedestrian interviews at 22 locations across Doha, including a mix of commercial, tourist, and religious destinations.
Compliance with a strict, detailed demographic sample on a daily basis was enabled by the ability to review achieved samples at the end of each working shift and subsequently adjust sampling strategy dynamically in the field for the following day.
Interviewers with a range of language skills were evaluated, selected, trained and tested under the supervision of both in-house and client project managers prior to commencing the main study.
Running simultaneously with the interviews was the filming of pedestrian crossing activity at 22 locations. These clips were subsequently reviewed and pedestrian crossing behaviour data was provided together with interview data within the deadline and with no subsequent data quality issues.
